NABL is a Constituent Board of Quality Council of India. NABL has been established with the objective of providing Government, Industry Associations and Industry in general with a scheme of Conformity Assessment Body’s accreditation which involves third-party assessment of the technical competence of testing including medical and calibration laboratories, proficiency testing providers and reference material producers. The laboratory accreditation services to testing and calibration laboratories are provided in accordance with ISO/ IEC 17025 ‘General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories’ and ISO 15189 ‘Medical laboratories — Requirements for quality and competence’. The accreditation to Proficiency testing providers is based on ISO/IEC 17043 “Conformity assessment — General requirements for proficiency testing” and to reference material producers based on ISO 17034“General requirements for the competence of reference material producers”. NABL offers accreditation services in a non-discriminatory manner. NABL has established its accreditation system in accordance with ISO/ IEC 17011 “Conformity Assessment – Requirements for Accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies‟. NABL accreditation system also takes note of the requirements of Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs) with APAC / ILAC of which NABL is a member.

• We evaluate the existing Laboratory infrastructure and recommendation for  changes requirement as per the NABL Accreditation norms. The recommendations will help to fill the gap and withdraw the practices required to update the standards for accreditation.
• Conducting quality awareness Training program for laboratory employees, Quality control, Laboratory Quality Management System, Quality Management system documents preparation, Quality manual, Development of all formats required to establish quality management system, Calibration services, guideline on preparation of standard operating procedures for test as per Accreditation requirement.
• Advice and assist in development of secondary reference and control materials, participation of inter laboratory comparison or Proficiency testing for Industrial testing and EQAS programme for Medical testing laboratories.
• To extend consultancy and guidance for the entire  accreditation process.
